Servicing Michigan's Lower Peninsula & Greater Toledo
Traditional insulation materials allow air to pass through them which can cause your furnace and air conditioner to work overtime, uneven temperatures throughout the home, and other costly and time-consuming problems.
Homeowners with foam insulation create an air barrier around their home, keeping the outside air out and the inside air in where it belongs.
Just imagine the joy homeowners experience when they fall in love with their transformed home that provides both comfort and increased energy efficiency.
When homeowners approach RetroFoam of Michigan, these are some of the common challenges we help them overcome:
One room or the entire house experiences extreme temperatures, either way too hot or way too cold compared to the rest of the home.
The furnace or air conditioner is running constantly, causing high monthly energy bills and a strain on your family’s budget.
Ice dams, freezing pipes, and condensation are all regular and stressful occurrences at your home.
Family members get sick more often than they should or allergies get more intense each year you live in your home.
An energy audit or home inspection identified poor or no insulation in certain areas of the home.
When remodeling or building your dream home, insulation is not only needed to pass code but to help you get the most out of your home.

Some companies only see dollar signs and will work with anyone no matter if they are the right fit. We understand our strengths and weaknesses and believe that RetroFoam of Michigan, as well as foam insulation, is NOT for everyone.
RetroFoam of Michigan may NOT be a good fit for you if:
We decided to specialize in foam insulation not only to offer homeowners the best solution for comfort issues and high energy bills but to also develop true expertise and skill in the industry.
We are a foam insulation contractor who installs top-notch spray and injection foam insulation. We do not sell products or rent equipment to people looking for a DIY foam insulation option.
We get some requests for some interesting applications (like flotation devices) but there are very few applications that we would consider outside of addressing the building envelope to solve the problems of comfort and high energy bills.
With a minimum job of $1,200 to $1,600 depending on the material and before any discounts or rebates, we may not be a good fit if you only need an extremely small area insulated. This is a situation where it may be best to buy a spray foam kit at the home improvement store.
There are probably contractors that will bid your job less than RetroFoam of Michigan. So if you are basing your final decision on price alone and not interested in the value of a lifetime warranty and an experienced non-subcontracted crew, we probably aren’t the best fit.
Your family deserves a comfortable home and freedom from high energy bills. Download the checklist to see if your family is experiencing any of the signs it may be time to update your old insulation.
