SEMCO Energy Rebates for Insulation (Home Performance Program)

If you’re a SEMCO Energy customer and don’t qualify for the income-based assistance program, you could still get generous rebates for insulation and air sealing upgrades.

Here’s what’s available for 2026:

• Attic/Roof Insulation: Up to $750
• Above Grade Wall Insulation: Up to $400
• Kneewall Insulation: Up to $400
• Basement Wall Insulation: Up to $300
• Crawl Space Wall Insulation: Up to $150
• Rim Joist: Up to $50
• Floor Insulation: Up to $225
• Air Sealing: Up to $500
• Duct Sealing: Up to $60
• Attic Hatch (R-38): Up to $25
• Pull-Down Attic Stairs (R-38): Up to $25

To qualify:

1. Be a current SEMCO customer
2. Complete the work within the current calendar year
3. Submit your rebate package within 90 days of project completion

Rebate paperwork checklist:

• Paid-in-full invoice
• AHRI certificate (if applicable)
• Your SEMCO account number and bill
• Contractor info
• Completed and signed the SEMCO rebate application
