For the past six years, RetroFoam of Michigan has been recognized by Consumers Energy for the work we do to make homes more comfortable, but on Thursday we hit an all new milestone.
RetroFoam of Michigan is now part of an elite club – the Home Performance with Energy Star 2019 Century Club.
During the event, RetroFoam of Michigan won three awards, as well as the Century Club recognition.
Throughout 2018, RetroFoam of Michigan completed more than 120 home performance projects for homeowners. Eric Garcia, General Manager at RetroFoam of Michigan, said the Century Club recognition meant a lot because it means the homeowners we serve are saving money on their energy bills.
“This means we have done a large number of jobs in general and of those jobs a big enough amount were home performance projects,” Garcia said. “That is cool for us because it comes down to the savings for the homeowner.”
RetroFoam of Michigan got involved getting Consumers Energy customers rebates on their insulation projects as another way to help save them money on energy costs. These home performance projects are very specific and require proving the air seal foam insulation creates with a blower door test.
In 2018, RetroFoam of Michigan received the Raising the Bar award, the Preferred Contractor Network – Outstanding Performance award in the Insulation and Windows Awards category.
