Home is supposed to be a warm and welcoming place, but that wasn’t the case for Steve Scherzer of Midland.

Scherzer and his family could barely stand to spend time in their living room, an area of the home where families usually congregate and spend time together. He said he could feel cold drafts on the back of his neck coming in through the walls. The Scherzer home was anything but warm and inviting.

“Before we called RetroFoam even the window behind me was too cold to even sit in my living room,” Scherzer said. “The house wasn’t quite as comfortable as we wanted.”

Enough was enough. Scherzer was tired of dealing with condensation on his windows, cold drafts, and not feeling comfortable in his home. He decided it was time to call RetroFoam of Michigan.

“When I called RetroFoam I really appreciated the fact that they wanted to solve my problem, not just sell me a product,” Scherzer said.

RetroFoam of Michigan insulated the walls at Scherzer’s home.

Injection foam insulation installed in the exterior walls of a home will create an air barrier that keeps cold winter air outside where it belongs. Scherzer said after the installation he began to notice a huge difference in the comfort level of his home.

The Scherzer family can now enjoy their home in a way that wasn’t possible previously.

“I would recommend RetroFoam to anyone experiencing cold drafts, condensation on your windows, and not feeling comfortable in your house,” Scherzer said. “They’ll help you solve your problem.”
