What is RetroFoam?

RetroFoam is a 3-part resin injection foam insulation designed to insulate enclosed cavities like existing walls, providing an air barrier to help prevent drafts and energy loss – not only making homes more comfortable but reducing energy bills up to 50 percent.

RetroFoam insulation offers many benefits, including:

  • Environmentally safe
  • Class 1 Fire Rated
  • Improved indoor air quality
  • Not a food source for pests or mold
  • Doesn’t retain water
  • Reduces noise

Where can RetroFoam be used?

When retrofitting an existing home, RetroFoam insulation can be used to insulate enclosed cavities like existing walls and cement blocks.

How is RetroFoam Installed?

RetroFoam can typically be injected into exterior walls from the outside. We can work with many home exteriors, including brick and various siding types.

For homes with siding, pieces can be removed to drill holes between the studs to inject the RetroFoam. The holes are then plugged and the siding put back up.

For brick homes holes are drilled through the mortar to inject the RetroFoam, then filled back in with matching (as close as we can) mortar.
